ACF PythoN MATH Game Development

This course pathway comprises "Applied Computing" through gamification- with creativity and technical training at its best! We usually recommend that our middle school teams learn their coding skills through this track.

PiThon Protectors

A community project team that builds a math app with Python programming to help low-income schools and students reduce the widening digital curriculum resource gaps between schools with more and fewer resources.

Tuesday Troubleshooters

They are making an adventure game where the goal is to defeat a potent enemy within a set time. The player needs to level up and get stronger before they are allowed to beat the game. The player also answers math questions that will reward them with sure buffs and bonus items.

Alien Apocalypse

Their game is an alien apocalypse-setting survival game where the player must survive and defeat the aliens. The game is made of a 2D map where players can move left and right to explore the world. In that map, the mother alien and numerous different types of aliens that have invaded earth each have different and unique abilities, such as invisibility and poison projectiles. To defeat these invaders, the player must make or collect melee and ranged weapons. As the player progresses, defeating enemies and bosses along the way, they must approach the final goal, beating the mother alien and stopping the invasion.

Painless Python

Painless Python consists of two members, Jaeyoon Kim and Irene Chong. They are both excellent and bright 6th. Grade STEM students focus on making a game (Pizza Clicker) with Pygame, one of the modules used in the vast and complex library of the programming language called Python.

Python Vipers

Python vipers is a historic fighting game. It allows players to experience different periods while playing our game. Currently, they are making the Bronze and Stone age game. Each era has a unique map with historical military units corresponding to the age.

Avocado

Avocado is building an Unity game using GTP-3 technology in order to produce human-like texts in a fantasy RPG game.
